Once the worm gear is removed from housing you can replace bronze bushings, thrust bearing and washers. If you are not sure about the fit please send me a message and I will check application for. Then place the new gear inside housing and put cover back on. Once the cover is removed you can remove and replace gear.

Then tighten the screw that holds cover on housing. This listing is for a new plastic jackscrew outer gear and inner metal with ring bearing.

It is only pictured to illustrate where the gear used. It does not include the housing that gear sits in. The cable turns jackscrew which then regulator. Removing your old worn out gear from the housing only takes a minute.

There is a tiny 1/4 bushing that the worm gear sits on. Includes new thrust bearing with 2 thin washers for worm gear is not included bronze bushings and 1/4 bushing that holds gears are made in USA to replace the simply remove one screw cover on then gently pry off. This jackscrew gear is used on full size Chevy Blazers and Gmc Jimmy's from 1978 through 1991 with power window motors. Housing is not included.

Be sure to lube up the new gear with appropriate grease. This jackscrew is only used on vehicles that have a power window motor in the tailgate. Replacing the thrust bearing 4th picture requires removal of worm gear from housing. This listing is for a new plastic jackscrew outer gear and inner metal with ring bearing that turns the power window regulator.
