Even though the motor ran when powered up I removed rear plate for a closer inspection. I observed no sputter or hesitation. A less than brilliant shine on exterior metal surfaces. I hand cleaned most of grease off the casing and drive gear to give you a better look at teeth.

Please consider this awesome Mercedes part as your next replacement. It has been my experience that these motors often fall victim to damage as a result of flood exposure.

An upon close examination of this motors interior workings I found none that. When tested the motor started instantly. Most times the junction block looks good. But inspecting them thoroughly as the pictures here show, I avoid.

Along with the motors interior plastic spline and vertical screw. This motor is also identified in the Mercedes parts catalog as part number.

I can see no evidence of groove wear or peak damage to any the exterior gear drive. No evidence of any grove wear on the plastic spline sprocket. Evidence of this would be in the form severe groove wear or stripped splines on sprocket.

But breaks when you attempt to remove screws seized in place with rust. This Brose right front window motor is a genuine used oem part.
