If the window did not move no matter how you connected charger to thew motor, then it is likely your motor needs replaced. More on the test details below. I am including this genuine used Mercedes junction block just in case you discover, as often do, the is broken. You do not have to remove the motor from car for this test.

I inspected the remaining brush material on this motor which in my opinion is eighth picture shows a clean magnet case and rust free lower bearing. As an added level of proof this motor did not come from a flood car. And it must last a very long time.

During my inspection I manually push each brush block back into its respective guide channel. This motor also will mount to the browse regulator part number used in Mercedes W126 sec coupe. Your right front browse regulator part number can be found on the Mercedes W126 sec. A less than brilliant shine on the metal surfaces. So with that said, this motor fits the right front window location of Mercedes W123 280CE or 300CD.

I arrive at this guess by noting the odometer reading of donor car, in case a 1991 Mercedes W126 560sec with 221,000 miles. Each exterior gear tooth looks just like the others. Based on my own experience with the Mercedes window issues, I also offer you, in opinion, a best guess as to remaining service life left this motor may give.

I hand cleaned most of grease off the casing and drive gear to give you a better look at teeth. Doing this I examined all the inner sprockets splines and found no evidence motor had ever jammed. This first connection may not produce a result as it be command to raise an already raised window. These blocks maintain constant contact with the armature and wear over time as it spins. However, I take pride in making all the repairs on my own Mercedes.
